how to view the ecmdrAgent .cmd file?

I'm running a cleanup job on Windows, and am getting this message in the step log (user name=="ecagent"):

Unrecognized escape \w passed through at C:\Users\ecagent\AppData\Local\Temp\ecmdrAgent/agent.PAE0YLEBPI6ASBZT.run-0d49cb3c-566b-11e9-91d2-246e9668426a-0d53b61f-566b-11e9-b292-246e9668426a.cmd line 37.

It complains of unrecognized escape chars "\w", "\W" and "\i", so the command that's running there needs to be filtered, but I want to see which line in the .cmd file to see what this error refers to specifically. However, these .cmd files are deleted as soon as the job completes. Is there any way to preserve these, or how can I reference this while it still exists, and show the contents?

The .cmd file is just the step code copied to a temp file for execution, right?

Yes, that file is temporary and deleted after the step is executed. I don't know if there is a setting to keep it around. However, if you click on the step name on the job page you should be able to see the step content you are looking for in the "Command" block.

You can also use the getProperty API to retrieve the content:

 ectool getProperty /myJobStep/command --jobStepId 0d49cb3c-566b-11e9-91d2-246e9668426a
