I am unable to Restore/Upgrade my ElectricFlow Server on MySQL?

I have taken a backup from MySQL Server. I imported it into another DB and spun up a new ElectricFlow Server of the same version.

I have copied over the Passkey, Keystore, configuration files and other items. When I try to connect the DB to the MySQL Server, I am unable to connect. I keep receiving:

Caused by: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLSyntaxErrorException: Table 'ec_acl' already exists

How do I resolve this?

1 answer: sort voted first

This error is a corruption, missing row, or malformation within the ec_configuration_history within the MySQL Database.

The 'Version' listed in the ec_configuration_history with your DB Back up is not matching the 'Versions' of the Tables within your back up.

You can confirm this by Going to the MySQL DB and running the following command:

select * from ec_configuration_history

Here you can see the latest version your system is on. You can confirm that the ElectricFlow Version listed is not matching the version your system is actually on.

To resolve this, you will need to create a new DB backup from your system. Then confirm that the ec_configuration_history is correct. From there, you can import this back up into your DB and then connect your new ElectricFlow Server to the DB.
