ElectricFlow installation hang at "Starting services..." on Ubuntu 14.04

I'm getting a nasty issue attempting to install ElectricFlow 6.5.0 on Ubuntu 14.04. The installer runs fine for almost the entire process, and then hangs at the end to the point where my entire vm slows to an unusable crawl.

I suspect the issue has to do with support for 32-bit architecture, but I've gone through that process and my vm is now supporting i386 architecture. The installation document listed here on page 31 presents several files which must be installed in order for the apache server not to fail. However, these files are no longer available for new versions of Linux. I have installed the newer versions of these files, but this might still be the root of the problem.

I have attached a picture of the installer at the point where it hangs and breaks the vm. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

did you try to use the console mode, may be you will get some useful information. The install log could be also interesting ...

 sudo ./ElectricFlow --mode console

Check the log for any information. I think the temporary location is something like /tmp/ij......
