Does cmtool handle alternate agent IP address like emake using --emake-ip-set=1?

Our agents are configured to use an alternate IP address for connection to emake hosts (via the --emake-ip-set=1 option). I'd like to use cmtool on an emake host, but it can't reach it since the CM and agents are on the primary IP address and the emake host is on the alternate address.

Is there a way to get cmtool to use the alternate address similar to 'emake --emake-ip-set=1'?

Note that cmtool works fine when run directly on the CM or one of the agents that has access to the primary IP address.

Are you using cmtool to run commands in the agents' Tcl interpreter?

Most of my use is accessing api calls like getAgentStatus.

The cmtool command does not currently support using the secondary set of IP addresses. Let us know if you would like us to enter a feature request.
