The session id returned by the server is stored into the user's .ecsession file. The default location of the .ecsession file for each platform is:

  • Windows: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Electric Cloud\ElectricCommander.ecsession

  • Linux: $HOME/.ecsession

How long does the session stay active? Can this be modified?

The default is 3 days, it can be modified in the server settings.
